Homelessness figures in the midlands remain high due to the a continued shortage of affordable accommodation.
Chairperson of the Midlands Simon Community, Mark Cooney, says he isn't surprised by the latest figures from the Department of Housing, which showed 155 people in the region are without a home.
He says the stats don't even give an accurate representation of the extent of the problem, with more rough sleepers unaccounted for.
