The Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar is advising people who are planning on attending the Adult and Paediatric ED services that they should consider their options as those who are not triaged as seriously ill may experience long waiting lists.
However, patients who require urgent care will be prioritised.

o Suspected broken bones to arm (from collar bone to fingertip)
o Suspected broken bones in legs (from knees to toes)
o Sprains and strains
o Wounds, bites (animal or insect) cuts, grazes and scalp laceration
o Minor burns and scalds
o Foreign bodies
o Minor chest injuries
