A number of midland hotels have temporarily shut their doors.
A midlands hotelier is hoping the hospitality industry won't be forgotten in next week's budget.
With people restricted to their county under Level 3 measures, a number of hotels in the region are shutting their doors for the next three weeks, while the Tullamore Court Hotel is closing until December 3rd.
Dara Cruise, manager of the Midlands Park Hotel in Portlaoise and chair of the Irish Hotel Federation midlands branch, says he can understand the decision, when business has plummeted:
HOTELS: A number of hotels in Laois, Offaly and Westmeath have decided to close their doors for at least three weeks.
