Macra want to see new people from within and without the farming community.

If you've ever had an interest in joining the farming community, you'll have the opportunity to do so tonight.

The Portlaoise branch of Macra Na Feirme is hosting an open event in the Portlaoise Macra hall at 8pm.

While the organisation is primarily associated with farming, anyone is welcome to attend whether they have a background in agriculture or not.
