Stephen McEvoy, of Cappagh in Laois, was honoured with a Climate Ambassador Award.
Stephen is known for his activity of mountain biking and litter-picking simultaneously, on an effort to preserve the areas.
He has also been responsible for litter picks by mountain biking clubs across the country as part of the National Spring Clean.
In total, Climate Ambassadors completed over 300 climate actions, directly engaging with over 710,000 people.
