A reduction in sexual violence is the aim of a new collaboration between domestic and sexual violence support services in the midlands.
Gardaí, Mullingar Sexual Assault Treatment Unit, ODVSS, Tullamore Rape Crisis Centre, Laois Domestic Abuse Service, TUSLA, the HSE and Laois Offaly CYPSC have come together to develop a series of workshops aimed at informing young people.
SATU has seen a near-40% increase in the number of adolescents presenting to it between 2017 and 2022.
