Rents are up over 10% across the region in the last year.
The cost of renting an apartment in Offaly is rising faster than anywhere else in the country.
The latest Daft.ie Rental Report shows a two bedroom apartment now costs €1,529 - up nearly 18.7% in 12 months.
The next biggest increase is in Leitrim at 14%.
A two bed flat in Laois costs €1,431 a month, up 10.7%, and in Westmeath it's €1,525, up 9.9%.
