A significant step in plans to develop a new building for a midlands school is taking place today.
Coláiste Dhun Masc in Portlaoise is currently operating out of three properties, but has received approval under large-scale capital programme for a new 1,000-pupil building.
Officials from the Department of Education, and representatives from the LOETB are due to meet today to discuss the proposals, and from there decide if it'll be suitable for the school to apply for planning permission.
