The Department of Education has announced a €50m package.
Midlands schools will receive almost €2.9 million for new IT equipment.
The funding is part of a €50 million package for primary and secondary schools nationwide, €10 million of which is for Covid-19 specific measures.
Westmeath will receive the largest amount of money at €1.1 million, while Offaly will received almost €940,000 and Laois €844,000.
Schools will be able to buy new software, computers and other devices from the funding, which will be paid in December.
