Coláiste Chiaráin's €24 million facility will be launched at 1pm by the schools patron Bishop, Kevin Doran and Minister Peter Burke.
The upgrade will accommodate up to 1,000 students with state of the art facilities such as 37 classrooms, six science laboratories, four technology rooms, two home economics kitchens and an art and multimedia room.
For physical education they have fitness rooms, a gym and a pe hall.
There also have an autism centre that can cater for 12 pupils.
