Longford-Westmeath TD Sorca Clarke says workers would have been better off if changes were made to USC.
A Midlands Sinn Fein TD says people are "worse off" following the announcement of the Budget compared to last year.
Sinn Féin finance spokesperson Pearse Doherty said the public had been "left abandoned", claiming the €750 tax break would offer little benefit, with over 1.5 million workers receiving less than €250.
One of the proposals put forward by Sinn Féin was to propose €1.5bn in tax cuts, including scrapping USC on the first €40,000 of earnings.
Longford-Westmeath TD Sorca Clarke says workers would have been better off as a result of this move.
