Preserving the biodiversity of our land is a common goal of the farming sector and environmental groups.
That's according to Offaly teenager Liadh Dalton, who met with Taoiseach Micheál Martin to discuss sustainable farming and creating an open dialogue between farmers and climate activists.
She says there should be more information provided to farmers looking to utilize green practices and better environmental education in secondary schools.
The Belmont activist says the media perception also needs to change:
