Two weather warnings have been issued for the midlands for tonight.
The entire country will be under a Status Yellow low temperature warning, which comes into effect from 8pm.
In addition to this, Laois and Offaly have been issued with a yellow warning for snow and ice from 9pm.
Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow and Galway as well as all of Minster will also fall under this alert.
