A Portlaoise councillor wants to see shopping centres in Laois make a change.
Shopping centres in a midlands town are being encouraged to add a specific space for breast feeding.
Fine Gael's Thomasina Connell says a number of women have contacted her saying they've had to feeding their babies in their car.
Premises, such as the Laois Shopping Centre, the Kyle Shopping Centre and the Portlaoise Centre do not currently have any such facility available.
