Moate Based Organisation Want To Continue Moving Away From One Off Housing

It's after 61 towns in the region were identified as places for potential population boosts.

Plans are being put in place in an effort to boost the population of smaller Irish towns. 

The Rural Serviced Sites scheme will aim to identify land in towns with a population of less than 2,000 people that local authorities will then sell at cost price to potential buyers. 

23 towns in Offaly, 18 in Laois and 20 in Westmeath could be eligible.
