The report also shows 15 per cent of people in the midlands are at risk of poverty.
More than 15 per cent of all those living in poverty in Ireland have a job, while more than a quarter are children.
That's according to Social Justice Ireland’s latest study - ‘Poverty Focus 2021' - which also shows 15 per cent of people in the midlands are at risk of poverty.
Poverty rates have fallen since 2016, due to social welfare increases in recent budgets.
