The next event will be held in Rathangan.
Moving the National Ploughing Championships to Rathangan will require a significant amount of work behind the scenes.
That's according to the National Ploughing Association's Assistant Managing Director, who says alternative plans will need to be put in place ahead of the event.
The organisation recently announced that the championships will move to Rathangan for the upcoming event, following two years in Screggan, County Offaly.
Anna Marie McHugh says setting up at a new location will require new mapping plans, access plans and the development of a new site.
New traffic management plans will also have to be developed to accommodate the change in location.
Ms McHugh says, for that reason, "it's very easy to say in one location".
However, she highlighted that it will be the first time Rathangan has hosted the National Ploughing Championships, which she says is exciting as it provides an opportunity to work with "new people" who can bring "new ideas" to the set up of the national event.
Anna Marie McHugh says it's an "onerous task" to move the event to a new location, but believes it is worthwhile and is also "the nature" of the event:
