New Apartment Rules Aim to Cut Costs and Speed Up Planning - CIF

Developers don't have to offer a mix of unit types.

The new apartment regulations will streamline the planning process for apartments, according to the Construction Federation Industry.  

Under the new rules, developers don't have to offer a mix of unit types and sizes for apartment blocks. 

It's hoped the new rules will cut costs by around €50,000 to €100,000 per unit.
