New Apprentice Scheme To Target Non-Traditional Sectors

The plan aims to have 10,000 people taking on apprenticeships every year.

Employers will get around 3,000 euro a year if they take on an apprentice as part of a new push for people to take part in the programme.

A new plan aims to see 10,000 people taking on apprenticeships every year by 2025, doubling the number from last year.

There will be extra supports for those who take on women, lone parents, people with a disability and those living in direct provision.
