The flying club want to expand their operations.
A new aviation training centre could be flying to Offaly soon.
FunFly Aerosports Flying Club is inviting tenders for the construction of the facility at Benfield Airfield, which will also house light aircraft.
The club is seeking to expand operations, through the establishment of what's being described as an all-inclusive amenity which will benefit the local area.
The aim is to develop an environmentally sustainable purpose-built building, which comprises an aircraft hangar.
The tender document also says it will be the first facility of its kind, and the contract is for a period of 12 months.
