The idea behind a Commuter Survey is to give an alternative to people who are leaving Laois everyday.
That's according to the Acting Head of Enterprise at Laois County Council, Dom Reddin.
The move comes as the local authority aims to gain a clearer picture of work travel patterns, employment sectors, and attitudes toward living and working in the county.
The findings will be used to develop a report highlighting key talent and skills hubs across the county, which will guide future economic development efforts.
