The new business studies and science and computing courses will commence in September.
The Minister for Further and Higher Education is expected to confirm details of 14 degree programmes, outside the CAO system when he address the Teachers Union of Ireland conference today.
The courses which include Science, Engineering, Business and Nursing will start in a further education college before transitioning to a University or a Technological University.
