SEEFA will be holding protests next week.
It's not credible for the Taoiseach to attend the COP26 Climate Summit, when the answer to carbon reduction is being ignored in Ireland.
That's the view of the new Social, Economic, Environmental Forestry Association, which is protesting next week demanding the government streamlines the licencing process for the planting and felling of trees.
They say the current system is endangering 12,000 jobs in the industry and leaving Ireland way off its afforestation targets for carbon absorption.
