A new machine to repair the potholes is being rolled out in Offaly.
The local authority has purchased a third Velocity Patcher, one is currently being used in Birr and Tullamore and the Edenderry areas have been sharing one.
It comes as residents in Rhode have been voicing their frustration with the potholes that they have branded "craters".
