New Offaly Processing Plant Will Be Good For Competition

A new meat factory in Offaly will bring much needed competition to the beef market.

President of the Irish Farmers' Association, Toomervara's Tim Cullinan says it's a boost for farmers who've been continually struggling with the prices from the existing meat processors.

He says three major players have been dominating the market in Ireland with little competition, so a new investor is excellent news for the farming community:
