New Personal Injury Guidelines To Take Affect From April 24th

Yesterday, Sean Fleming said he expects motor insurance premiums to fall from June.

New Personal Injuries Guidelines will take effect from Saturday April 24th.

Justice Minister Helen McEntee announced the move today.

The guidelines reduce award levels for most categories of personal injury.

They will be used by both the Personal Injuries Assessment Board and the courts to assess compensation in such claims.

Yesterday, Junior Finance Minister and Laois Offaly Fianna Fáil TD Sean Fleming revealed he expected motor insurance premiums would start coming down from mid-summer, as a result of the change.
