A local man is bringing We Care Ireland to the county.
A new service in the midlands is hoping to tackle homelessness, addiction and other mental health issues.
We Care Ireland is setting up a branch in Laois to provide a free, confidential counselling service, along with information on other services in the county.
Chairman of the group, Portlaoise man Ian Sage suffered with addiction himself for over 10 years.
