New 'Zero Cost Shop' For Ukrainian Refugees Opening In Laois

It'll offer items free of charge to those seeking refuge in the area.

A new zero cost shop for Ukrainain refugees will open its doors in Laois tomorrow.

Laois Integration Network is behind the initiative, which will offer items free of charge to those who've fled the war.

The shop is being set-up in the old Xtra-vision premises on Bull Lane in Portlaoise and will officially open at 12 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.

The site has been donated to the cause by local businessman Ger Mulhall.

LIN chair Karen McHugh says they couldn't have done it without the generosity of the community:

Opening hours and more information can be found on Laois Integration Network's social media channels.
