Students use it more than anyone else in the country, according to the CSO.
Over nine in ten people in the midlands use the internet every day.
Figures from the CSO show just under half of those go online several times a day, and a quarter are connected to the web 'nearly all the time.'
The study found all students who have internet access, use it every day.
93% of households in the midlands are connected to the internet, just below the national average of 94%.
Over six in ten households who don't have web access, say it's because they don't need it.
