The collision occurred shortly after 9am.
There have been no serious injuries after a four-car crash in Westmeath this morning.
Gardaí attended the scene of the collision, which occurred on the M6 at the Glen shortly after 9am today.
Lane 2 Westbound between Junctions 7 and 8 had been affected by the crash, but the scene has since been cleared.
