57 patients have been waiting over 18 months.
There were 57 people waiting for over a year and half for hospital appointments in the midlands last month.
In total, there were over 2,000 people on inpatient and day cases waiting lists, a decrease of almost 7% from the month prior.
In Mullingar Hospital had the highest number on waiting lists for such procedures, with 928.
Tullamore Hospital was close behind with 907, while Portlaoise had 221 waiting.
Nationally, just under 500,000 people on the Active Waiting List are waiting longer than the Sláintecare maximum wait times, which is a 1.2% decrease in comparison to the end of May.
