Offaly And Laois Outpace Westmeath In Social Housing Rollout

Westmeath Council delivered just over a third of its six month target.

Westmeath is well behind on its target for social housing this year.

The county council delivered just over 33% of its target for the first six months of the year.

The Department of Housing's latest figures show both Offaly and Laois are making progress in their respective housing delivery goal.

Offaly's local authority has already met just under 70% of its target - the second best set of figures nationwide.

While the figure is 52% in Laois.
