Offaly Auctioneer Predicts Houses Prices Will Fall This Year

He reckons cost have now reached an all time.

An Offaly auctioneer doesn't believe the latest increase in rent prices in the midlands will last.

The most recent figures published by daft.ie show the average national rent has dropped for the first time in seven years.

However, a jump of 6 per cent was recorded in the midlands, with the average cost now 968 euro.

Richard Cleary from Property Partners in Tullamore feels house prices are at an all time high and predicts a fall over the next year:
