Offaly Councillors Pass "Challenging" €72m Budget

That figure includes €26m being paid by the government.

Offaly county council has passed its most "challenging budget".

The local authority says the acceleration of the Bord Na Mona's decarbonisation plans and the pandemic  had a big impact on its rates income. 

Councillors agreed on a 72 million euro budget which will include 26 million euro from central government.
