An Offaly Councillor is forming a campaign group to oppose plans for two separate wind farms
Fianna Fáil rep Claire Murray Smale believes the people in the Midlands need to stand up and fight back against the introduction of two further approved wind farms in North Offaly.
An application has been lodged for a 7 turbine farm in Ballinla, and a 9 turbine project in Derrynadaragh.
A public consultation is taking place at 8pm in Rhode Hall on Monday to hear local objections.
