"Together for Fiadh" is to raise funds for a life-saving treatment in the US for five year old Fiadh Ronan.
An Offaly family says they're amazed by the support they've received in trying to secure a life saving treatment for their five year old child.
Fiadh Ronan was diagnosed in October 2023 with Stage 4 High-Risk Neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer.
To prepare for a stem-cell transplant, she went through 16 rounds of chemotherapy in five days.
Fiadh is now embarking on a clinical trial in the United States to keep the cancer at bay - the cost will run into the hundreds of thousands of euro.
An online fundraiser has seen €200,000 raised in just two days, with a target of €400,000.
Fiadh's parents Anne Marie Dempsey, who is from Geashill and Frank Ronan have been speaking with Will Faulkner on Midlands Today about the fundraiser:
