Offaly Family Welcome Teenager Into Home As Part Of RTE Series

Raised by the village takes teenagers brought up in Dublin and introduce them to rural living.

An Offaly family are taking part in an new RTE programme aimed at changing the behaviour of rebellious teenagers.

Raised by the Village sees children from the city spending time in rural Ireland.

Noleen Cusack and her family welcomed a boy from West Dublin for five days in which he spent time milking cows, moving turf and helping out at the Clonaslee show. 

Ms.Cusack says Jamie benefited from the tight knit community in the town:
