Offaly Councillor Says We Cannot Take Our Local Fire Services For Granted

They rescued a man from drowning over the weekend.

A person was rescued from the River Brosna over the weekend.

Clara Fire Brigade was called to the scene in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The crew entered the water and rescued a young man from drowning - before assisting paramedics with his resuscitation on the river bank.
