Two Gardaí Released After Offaly Garda Station Incident

Edenderry Garda Station is currently closed for investigation and deep cleaning.

Two Gardaí who became unwell while processing seized cannabis vape products in County Offaly have been released from hospital.

The two officers collapsed at Edenderry Garda Station yesterday, while handling products seized from a business during a recent investigation.

Gardaí say they're continuing to provide welfare support to the members.

The station remains closed as investigators continue to make enquiries into the circumstances of the incident.
