The fire took hold in the early hours of Sunday morning in Tullamore.
Emergency services have attended the scene of a fire at hotel in Offaly.
125 guests were evacuated from the Bridge House after a fire broke out in the smoking area of the Bridge House Bar on High Street in Tullamore.
Offaly Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to the blaze at 5.30am on Sunday morning.
Units from the Tullamore and Clara stations managed to contain the fire to the smoking area.
No injuries are being reported but emergency service crews are confirming there is extensive damage to the smoking garden and external wall.
Gardaí say they're not treating the incident as suspicious.
Management at the hotel say the bar will remain closed until 12pm on Sunday afternoon and the smoking area is closed until further notice for maintenance and damage assessment.
