Offaly motorists are more likely to have penalty points than drivers from any other county in the country.
Figures from the RSA show just under one in five motorists in Offaly have points on their licence over the past three years.
18% of drivers in Laois have committed a road offence in that same period, followed by 16.9%in Westmeath.
Overall, nearly one fifth of motorists in the midlands have penalty points on their license.
