Offaly Rep Questions Why Government Isn't Following WHO Guidance

The World Health Organisation recommended social distancing has been reduced to one metre.

An Offaly councillor is questioning why our social distancing measures haven't been reduced to one metre.

The World Health Organisation says people are no longer required to stay two metres apart to limit the spread of covid-19, and considers a one metre distance is now sufficient.

Public health officials and government ministers are to discuss the measures in the coming days.

However, independent cllr John Leahy believes the two metre causing unnecessary havoc and says the Chief Medical Officer is being unbelievably arrogant:
