The Chairperson of a Midlands GAA club says the family of an Offaly teenager, who suffered life-altering injuries last week, are stunned at the support from their community.
A GoFundMe page set up by Clara Ladies Football Club has raised over €158,000 so far for Miya Connolly Loonam, after she was seriously injured in a road traffic collision near Clara last week.
Miya is currently receiving care in Crumlin Children's Hospital in Dublin.
