An Offaly woman is backing Neurological Alliance Ireland in seeking over 40 more neuro-rehab beds across the Midlands.
Edenderry's Anne Marie Leonard started to experience symptoms of a neurological condition in 2023 while working as a carer.
She spent seven months in Peamount Healthcare in Dublin for the care she needed to manage her condition.
Her story is one the NAI is using to highlight the urgent need for funding for neuro-therapy in the upcoming Budget.
