She needs the support of 361 of the 720 MEPs.
Fianna Fáil's Barry Cowen and Independent Luke 'Ming' Flanagan are set to oppose the vote.
Fine Gael's Maria Walsh and Nina Carberry have already declared their support for von der Leyen.
Midlands North west MEP Ciaran Mullooly said he still has not made his mind up yet.
