Only One Patient Waiting For A Bed At Midlands Hospitals

There are just 16 people on trolleys in Irish hospitals today

There are just 16 people on trolleys in Irish hospitals today - compared to 587 at the same time last month. 

This morning, just one patient is waiting in the midlands - in the emergency department of Portlaoise Hospital.

The highest was recorded in University Hosptial Kerry, with seven patients on trolleys, followed by Temple Street, where three children are waiting.
