A Laois TD says ED overcrowding is having a major impact.
A Laois TD says it's outrageous that an elderly person had to wait almost 2 hours for an ambulance to arrive in Clonaslee.
The ambulance had to come from Mullingar as there was none available in Laois.
The Sinn Féin deputy believes one of the main issues is Emergency Department overcrowding, which means ambulances are waiting in queues for patients to be transfered into the hospital.
