The annual fundraiser features PJ breakfasts, teddy bear picnics and games in aid of charity.

Over 2,500 children are going to school in their favourite nightwear across the Midlands this morning for National Pyjama Day 2026.

In Westmeath over 700 children are taking part, in Laois there's more than 1,300 children participating and in Offaly over 560 kids are joining the fun.

Organised by Early Childhood Ireland, the annual fundraiser features PJ breakfasts, teddy bear picnics and games to raise vital funds for charity.

This year’s proceeds will support LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice, and Early Childhood Ireland’s Eco-Emotions project.
