The Taoiseach says he will raise the issue of a midlands school, which has been waiting seven years for new ASD classrooms, with the Education Minister.
Micheál Martin was responding to Laois TD Brian Stanley after he raised the issue in the Dáil.
The Independent Deputy says plans for St.Fintan's National School in Mountrath is stuck at the preliminary sketch design stage and the extra classrooms, sensory room and general-purpose hall are badly needed.
He says the principal and staff, at the 123 pupil school, are very concerned about the slow process and it shouldn't have fallen through the cracks:
