At the start of April the evictions ban was lifted.
In the midlands, there have been just over 260 notices of termination in the second quarter of this year, up by 53 from quarter 1.
More than 5,700 tenants were issued with notices to quit between the start of April up until last week.

Residential Tenancies Board figures show there was an increase of nearly 1,000 compared to the first three months of 2023.
The highest number in the midlands region came in Westmeath at 105, that's followed closely by 101 in Laois and then 55 in Offaly.
The majority of notices to quit were issued as the landlord intended to sell the rental property.
